Today was the second step in the nominating procedure for my dad's appointment.  My dad interviewed with the Senate Judiciary Nominting Committee and after 40 minutes of closed door deliberation and almost an hour of questioning my dad was unanimously confirmed by the committee.  Next Wednesday is the final full floor senate vote.  I am so proud of my dad.  He spoke so succinctly and intelligently, I was so impressed with his confidence and competence as they questioned him.  What was inspiring to me was that it was brought up that in his 24 years of practicing law he has NEVER had a complaint filed against him with the Utah Bar Association.  Pretty amazing but not surprising for a really amazing man and an even more amazing dad.
