Your the Lamest Mom Ever

The night before Brody's birthday I decided that Brody should wake up to a room full of ballons and streamers for his birthday. I began blowing up balloons, seriously got lightheaded, hands numb and tingling (no joke) but blew up 50 balloons to put on the floor in his room. After I finished Blake then suggested that we could blow up more balloons using the air compressor outside. Because, you know, it would be 'alot easier that way'. Fist of wrath!!! Brody was so surprised and we spent most of his birthday morning playing with balloons, throwing them in and out of his crib and then popping everyone of them with scissors (his favorite part). Brody was so supported by his family members who love him! We had hamburgers and hotdogs, salads, chips, drinks, and of course, what 2 year old party isn't complete without an awesome, rockin', construction cake built by his crafty Martha Stewart Mother. {Insert pat on back here}. The John Deere toys courtesy of Smith and Edwards, complete with an Rolo transporting Gator, bulldozer pushing Vanilla Wafer crumbs, skidsteer loading milk duds, and of course, a track hoe loading oreo cookie pieces into the dump truck. The brownie brick wall was conceptually designed and built by RB Hall Construction owner, Blake Hall, aka Dad. Brody squeeled when he saw the cake and just wanted to play with the trucks. This is awaiting me right now in the kitchen. Time to tackle the procrastinated raspberry and strawberry jam I have been wanting to do since July. Thank heavens for wholesale produce stores where believe or not, on October 4th, they still have AWESOME prices on by the case fruit.
